Our Story: From a Layover to a Legacy
It was November 2001. I was en route to the US for training, making a quick layover at Frankfurt Airport. Exhausted from my journey out of Delhi and fighting a stubborn hangover, I wandered to a coffee counter near Gate 14. That’s where it happened: a modest espresso shot that I assumed would just be a pick-me-up quickly turned into a revelation. Little did I know that this seemingly ordinary moment would spark an entrepreneurial journey two decades in the making.
Our Story
Over the years, my fascination with coffee grew. I explored every aspect of this elixir, from local haunts like Cafe Coffee Day to international experiences with brands like Starbucks and Caffè Nero. I found myself drawn to the soul of coffee cultures around the world—from the lush coffee estates of India to the vibrant coffee traditions of Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Each cup brought new insights, stories, and flavors, and it’s been nothing short of amazing.

But the journey to create Hustlers Coffee wasn’t without its hurdles. Over the past year and a half, I’ve poured more energy into learning about coffee than I ever did in school. From blending and sourcing to understanding the nuances of taste and texture, I was determined to share this passion with a broader audience.

In mid-March, Hustlers Coffee was set to launch. Yet, as with any entrepreneurial story worth telling, obstacles arose. We faced delays with government formalities, obtaining our GST only in August 2024 after repeated setbacks. Then, in September, we hit another snag: our original brand name, Honest Hustle Coffee, faced a trademark objection from The Coca-Cola Company. So, with resilience and the spirit of a hustler, we rebranded as Hustlers Coffee.

If that wasn’t enough, packaging presented its own set of challenges. After weeks of searching for the perfect printing partner, we finally found one—only to have our order delayed and the designs misprinted. This delay impacted our PR outreach and influencer campaigns, but we’ve pushed through and are still in the process of finding the right partners to bring our vision to life.

Through all of this, I’ve come to realize that building a brand is as much about perseverance as it is about passion. With Hustlers Coffee, I want to bring you the diverse and pure flavors of coffee from around the globe, crafted for those who live and work with purpose.
